THE WORST THING ABOUT BEING A TRAVELER

Are you thinking about hitting the road for a big adventure? What’s holding you back? I’m sure that fear is playing a big role but perhaps so is saying goodbye to your friends and family…

Now what if I told you that the “goodbyes” won’t stop there! Everywhere you travel, you’ll be sure to make new friends and acquaintances, only to turn around and say goodbye again.

Thus is the traveler’s dilemma – A life filled with so many goodbyes.

THE WORST THING ABOUT BEING A TRAVELER - SAYING GOODBYE

So should you stay put, in the comfort of your daily routine and familiar faces?

HELL NO! Here’s why:

Goodbye is never goodbye…It’s “until we meet again”

Having friends all over the world will enrich your life in unlimited ways

Every goodbye means another “Hello”

Traveling for just 2 years, we now have friends spanning the globe. Just check out these beautiful people from Australia, Austria, St. John, North Carolina, Oregon, New York, New Jersey and Arizona.

While some friendships may never be more than the occasional Facebook conversation, so many friendships will be more than just a casual, long-distance acquaintance. These people will become great friends, regardless of the miles that separate us or the time that passes between encounters. Therefore it is so important to treat every new hello as something important.

Also, traveling will force you to make the most of time spent with the people you care about. Time spent with friends becomes so important that time itself gains new importance and meaning.

So there you have it…

The worst thing about traveling could actually be the best thing. So many goodbyes mean so many hellos. New friends all over the world, and from all walks of life, will change who you are for the better.

After all…remember that it’s not “Goodbye” anyway. From now on it’s “Until we meet again.”
