LIFE ALWAYS MOVES TOO FAST
Alisa and I have just finished the circumnavigation of Australia (including Tasmania). I drove nearly 9,000 miles around the country over the course of one year.
When we completed the trip and arrived back in Macmasters Beach (where we revisited some of our favorite people), it felt like we were JUST there…even though it was a full year later. This led to my most poignant realization upon completion of this journey…
A year passes by quickly even when every day is an adventure filled with new friends, places, hikes, waterfalls, bonfires, beers, and so much more.
What did I learn from this?

What can YOU learn from this??
Life ALWAYS moves too fast
…so you better enjoy every day!
One year will feel like one minute whether you are traversing the globe or traversing the same office floor plan day in and day out. I had truly believed that life was flying by way too fast when I was working in a corporate environment for 10 years (read “The Definition of Insanity“). Now I know that life is ALWAYS just a blur, regardless of how your days are spent.

Now ask yourself:
When I am 80, 90 or 100 will I look back on this blink of an eye that we call life and be reminded of the time I spent following my passions and enjoying every day…or just be reminded of wasted time and opportunities missed?
